This poll, conducted May 30-June 7, 2006, is part of a continuing series of monthly surveys that solicit public opinion on the presidency and on a range of other political and social issues. Respondents aged 13 to 24 were asked to give their opinions on the most important problem young people face, on the environment, on global warming, and on MTV's involvement in promoting environmental issues. Respondents were also asked about their cell phone and Internet usage, as well as their television viewing habits. Additional questions addressed homosexuality, racial diversity in the respondents' school, and race relations. Background information on respondents includes military service, voter registration status, party identification, sex, religious affiliation, education record, age, and ethnicity
