Summary: This file contains demographic, socioeconomic, and chest x-ray data for all persons 25 though 74 years of age who were medically examined by the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey II (HANES II). Variables derived from the chest x-rays describe heart size, cardiopulmonary findings, and the presence or absence of scoliosis and rib fractures.
