This study contains a subset of items from the SURVEY OF CONSUMER FINANCES, 1964 (ICPSR 7444) that focused on the public's perception of the presidential transition subsequent to the assassination of President Kennedy. Variables assessed respondents' political preferences and opinions of the Johnson administration as compared with Kennedy's.
