- In the winter of 1869, Union Army veteran Angus McKay (Scott Raker) abandons his factory job in Massachusetts for a shot at life as a gold prospector in the wilderness of the Wyoming Territory. Escaping from the tyrannical grasp of Howell Mill manager J. Griffith (Jesse Cargill), MacKay leaves the East with dreams of personal freedom and economic mobility in the American Frontier
