Summary
The disease AIDS was the central topic of this survey. Respondents were asked if they approved of the way President Reagan was handling the situation involving the disease, and whether they approved or disapproved of a variety of steps that could be taken to prevent the spread of AIDS. Respondents also were asked if they thought immigrants, prison inmates and military personnel should be tested for the disease and if they themselves would voluntarily take a blood test.
