Summary
This Supplementary Empirical Teaching Units in Political Science (SETUPS) module is designed as an introduction to the study of elections, voting behavior, and survey data through the analysis of the 1992 United States general election. The data are taken from the AMERICAN NATIONAL ELECTION STUDY, 1992: PRE- AND POST-ELECTION SURVEY (ICPSR 6067), conducted by Warren E. Miller, Donald R. Kinder, Steven J. Rosenstone, and the National Election Studies. A subset of items including behavioral, attitudinal, and sociodemographic data were drawn from the full election survey
