- A beautiful valley dotted with wineries serves as the backdrop for this tale of love, hate, passion and intrigue. Valeria San Román is strong, rebellious, and a constant thorn in the side of her father, José Maria San Román, a cruel and ambitious man who acquired his wealth through treachery. When Valeria meets Francisco Contreras, recent heir to his bankrupt father's winery, they decide to form a business partnership, which would not only save the Contreras family business, but also make Valencia independent of her unloving father. Initially, their strong personalities clash, but as they get to know and respect each other, a love develops between them that must withstand the forces that are trying to tear them apart
