- Summary
-
- Detalles: Experimental short that revolves around a troubled young couple
- Idea: Children in an isolated village outside of Havana find their creativity sparked by the arrival of documentary filmmakers in this nonfiction piece. Coyula coaches the youngsters philosophically in storytelling and technically in filmmaking, and suddenly a font of inspiration wells up, centering around a dark cave near the edge of town
- Bailar sobre agujas: A young couple's dealings with a sinister older man bring out repressed emotions and feelings from all parties in this dense, unsettling, yet stylized award-winning short
- Buena onda: A fragile, skittish young woman one day finds an odd instrument that crash-lands out of the sky. She uses it to make unearthly music and unusual art, much to the chagrin of the callous, callow friends and family around her. Finally, driven too far by her slacker brother's friends and disengaged from her family, she lashes out in a sudden burst of ultra-violence
- Ajuares: Art video about the work of Cuban artist and sculptor Jacqueline Maggi
- Clase Z "Tropical": Parody of Hollywood's action independent films dramatizing the typical trailer of a post Tarantino B-movie
